LAUNCESTON TRACK NOTES
The Launceston track will see excitement from the second the gate drops. Riders will blast off the line and hold the throttle open for a full 91 meters. Allowing them to reach top gear and speed of 80 kph, before locking down the brakes and negotiating the first turn. This extended start will also throw in two ski jumps to add to the holeshot battle. One the riders make it through the first turn, they will need to maintain as much of the speed as they can because two turns later they will encounter the longest whoops section of the series. Speed and composure will be key to a good finish at this track.
