BIO

I’m based at Atherton in North Queensland, so I have a lot of access to wide open tracks and since racing I have had the most success with motocross.

I was 12 years old when I won my first junior motocross championship and it was on a 65cc in 2003.  Then in 2004, I won the 85cc Australian Junior MX Championship in the 13-14 years class.

I went onto win the under 15 year’s 85cc and 125cc Australian Junior Motocross Championship titles in 2005 and 2006, plus the Sunshine State, Queensland and North Queensland titles.

It was in 2007 that I started to get noticed on a national scale.  I gave well renowned motocross racer Brendan Harrison some serious competition in the Under 19s Australian Motocross Championship, and ended up finishing second to Brendan by only two points.  That caught the attention of Motorex KTM Racing and landed me a factory ride.

I received a wildcard entry into the Pro Lites class in 2007 Australian Motocross Championship for the Toowoomba round and in my first race, I won, and that hadn’t been done for 30 odd years.

I have been racing with Motorex KTM for the Pro Lites Australian Motocross Championship in 2008, and it has been pretty tough, with many other riders stepping out of the junior ranks to prove themselves, plus other senior riders choosing to stay in this class instead of stepping up into the Opens.

I’m not renowned for my supercross racing, but I can race it and I’m not afraid of big jumps.  I race to win and that’s my game plan for Super X.   The format encourages speed, and I know the KTM 250 SX-F has it to take me there, so bring on the battle!
