BIO

My dad is really into dirt bike racing, so he got my brother Jay and I into the sport at a young age and we loved it. I did my time competing all over Australia for many years before turning pro, and I even got myself a marine mechanic apprenticeship before signing with my first factory team being Motorex KTM in 2004.

I’ve been riding the KTM 250 SX-F for a number of years now, I find that my body weight handles this bike the best, so I’ve decided to stick with Pro Lites racing and secure as many titles as possible.

I won my first Pro Lites Supercross Championship in 2004 at the SX Nationals and back it up with another title in both the Australian Motocross and Supercross Championship in 2006.  I then won the Pro Lites Supercross Championship again in 2007, so I go into this new Super X as reigning Pro Lites Champion.

I see the toughest competition for the Pro Lites Championship coming from my Motorex KTM team mate Tye Simmonds and many of the new young riders that are stepping up into the class. These young guys are just as hungry as I am to win.

I’ll certainly have some pressure on my shoulders going into the event with the number one plate, because everyone wants a piece of the guy with the red plate, but with pressure comes determination and that is what I have to win.
