BIO

Riding with Honda Thor Racing in the 2008 Australian U19 Motocross Championship and Australian Pro Lites Supercross Championship, Josh Cachia has stepped up for his rookie season at the senior level. At just 16 years of age, Cachia already has more than a decade of racing experience under his belt and is a proven champion, winning his first national title at the age of 10.

Continuously dominating the junior classes, Cachia went on to score two South Australian Motocross titles, two Victorian Motocross Championships and a string of podium results. Dubbed 'the Flyer', the young Victorian racer made his Supercross debut at age 12, where he finished impressively in third place for the series, and is now favoured to be a strong rookie performer in the ultra competitive Pro Lites supercross class.

A Honda stalwart, Cachia has finally earned his first factory-backed ride and is excited by the opportunity and privilege of racing the Honda Thor CRF250R for the season. Fully recovered from two broken arms sustained while contesting the 2007 Oceania Motocross Championship, Cachia is quietly confident of being able to repay the factory Honda squad's faith in him with strong on-track results throughout 2008.
